Shiny, Shimmering, Splendid! (Part 2)

Hello there again my dearest RANTers! How are you guys doing? The R-E-A-L question is, how was your June 2013? I hope it’s good because in this post, let’s forget all the BAD VIBES that is getting in our way and let the GOOD VIBES make our day (And it RHYMES!)

In PART 1, I RANTed about the first three chakras that are present in our body. Now, I’ll be RANTing about the last four chakras…

So let’s RANT on!

Heart Chakra
“…located at the center of the chest, associated with thoracic vertebrae of the spine.”
~From “Healing With Crystals and Chakra Energies” by Sue and Simon Lilly

Need I say more about this chakra? The name of the chakra says it all. ALL matters of the heart affects this chakra. (And I know that this will be the part that you’ll be focusing on.)

So what are the crystals and minerals that can help you if this chakra is unbalanced or is in turmoil? These are…

Green Aventurine
Physical: Supports general healing, increase of life force, heart, and circulation
Emotional: Inspires optimism, self-confidence, peace amid difficulty
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Green Tourmaline (Verdelite)
Physical: Supports healthy heart function.
Emotional: Aids in achieving inner peace through centering in the heart.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Green Jade
Physical: A spiritual aid to strengthen the heart and overall health.
Emotional: Supports the emotional body in opening to joy.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Emerald
Physical: Supports the circulatory system.
Emotional: Opens the heart to love, forgiveness, compassion, and trust.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Rose Quartz
The Rose Quartz that I bought at Quiapo.
Physical: Supports the heart in healing from trauma and/or disease.
Emotional: Aids in releasing past wounds, teaches trust and hope.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-I would just like to add that this crystal also teaches one to love the self first before you can love others. It is also called the “Stone of Unconditional Love” and can be used in making LOVE POTIONS (I know what you’re thinking now. *wink!*)

Now that I’ve finished RANTing about this chakra, let us now move on to the next chakra and next set of crystals and minerals…

Throat Chakra
“…is located at the cervical vertebrae and the base of the throat.”
~From “Healing With Crystals and Chakra Energies” by Sue and Simon Lilly

This chakra is all about C-O-M-M-U-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N and T-R-U-S-T. If you can’t find the voice to speak for yourself and if you have trust issues, then this chakra could be in turmoil and unbalanced. (NERD!!!)

These crystals and minerals could help you with that…

Turquoise
Physical: Increases life force in the body; supports blood oxygenation.
Emotional: Encourages self-forgiveness and the release of useless regrets.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Aquamarine
Physical: Helps with sore throat and throat conditions, inflammatory illnesses
Emotional: Good for calming anger, relieving stress, and expressing true emotions
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-Hmm… Now this can be used to help those little liars. (Have a diabolic laugh here.)

Chrysocolla
Physical: Supports adrenals and thyroids; aids with stress-related illnesses.
Emotional: Aids with calming, releasing of stress and anxiety
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Blue Lace Agate
Physical: Supports healing of sore throat, laryngitis, thyroid problems, and speech impediments
Emotional: Calms the emotional body, aids in confidence in communication, and helpful for releasing negative habits of interaction and speech.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-Now this is for those anti-socials, ain't it?

*phew!* Ready for more crystals and minerals? I know I am…

Third Eye/Forehead/Brow (Not “BRO”. I’m not straight.) Chakra
“…located in the center of the forehead. This is linked to the pineal gland that maintains cycles of activity and rest…”
~From “Healing With Crystals and Chakra Energies” by Sue and Simon Lilly

This got you a bit excited because of the word “Third Eye”, am I correct? You’re thinking of PSYCHISM and stuffs like that. Hmm… We’ll S-E-E about that…

Lapis Lazuli
Some Lapis Lazuli beads that I have.
Physical: Aids in seeing the karmic or physiological roots of illness.
Emotional: Helps in recognizing and dissolving emotional pathologies.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-Now, I know what you’re thinking. This is a blue stone and not a violet one (Which is the color of the Third Eye chakra.) but this stone is more on the sixth chakra (Third Eye) more than it is in the fifth chakra (Throat).

Sodalite
Physical: Supports maintenance of healthy blood pressure and hydration.
Emotional: Aids one’s insight, allowing understanding of emotional issues.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-The question here is, how would you know the difference between a SODALITE and a LAPIS LAZULI since they look so much alike (For some newbies that is.)? The answer is simple. LAPIS LAZULI has PYRITE inclusions in it. That yellowish tinge on the stone determines it is a LAPIS LAZULI.

Blue Kyanite
The Blue Kyanites I bought at Nature's Healing Stones
Physical: Supports healing of severed nerves and other neurological problems.
Emotional: Aids in dissolving repeating dysfunctional emotional patterns.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Sugilite
Physical: Provides a purifying, protective influence; supports healing from cancer.
Emotional: Instills a positive, hopeful attitude; clears emotional body.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Amethyst
Physical: Overcoming addictions, tinnitus, nerve disorders, and aids oxygenation of the blood.
Emotional: Helps clear negative or addictive emotional patterns
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-Now this is the stone you’re looking for. It can help you develop your own psychic abilities. It also said that having this one with you or wearing it could help you to not get easily drunk.

I’ve just realized that I’m getting serious all of a sudden. Geez!

Crown Chakra
“…is located just above the top of the head and influences all the higher brain functions.”
~From “Healing With Crystals and Chakra Energies” by Sue and Simon Lilly

Now we’re down to the last chakra! Yippee!

Anyway, having this chakra in turmoil or having it out of balance could affect all of the other chakras (Since it is the highest of all. Just like the king/queen affecting his/her subordinates/subjects.).

These crystals and minerals could help you with that…

Selenite
One of my favorites. I bought this baby at Nature's Healing Stones.
Physical: Clears energy blockages, induces inner alignment, and facilitates healing.
Emotional: Inspires one to release insecurity and reach for one’s desire.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons

Moonstone
These are just some of the Moonstone beads that I have in my collection.
Physical: Aids women in comfortable regulation of their menstrual cycles.
Emotional: Encourages forbearance, calmness, patience, and inner tranquility
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-Since we have PYRITE for males, we also have MOONSTONE for the female. (Oh yeah! HIGH FIVE for all women out there!)

Clear Quartz
Most of these are bought at Quiapo and some are bought at Nature's Healing Stones.
Physical: Offers support for the nervous system.
Emotional: Can be used to intensify feelings and/or heal the emotional body.
~From “The Pocket Book of Stones” by Robert Simmons
-One of my favorite crystals. Why? Because this crystal can be “programmed” to imitate any CRYSTAL/MINERAL you choose to be imitated. It can N-E-V-E-R imitate the physical features or the looks of the crystal/mineral but it can imitate the “energies” the crystal/mineral you want to be imitated. (NERD!!!)

Everything that I RANTed here are just tiny tidbits of what those crystals and minerals can do. For you to know how they work and what they are for, again, you may choose to join one of the Facebook groups called Crystal Healing Arts, Research, and Magic Society (CHARMS) and ask them for more information about those crystals and minerals I’ve RANTed here. Or you may get knowledge of what these crystals and minerals can do through experience when you carry them or when you have them.
